Welcome to Command Z, a podcast dedicated to uncovering how top designers, creatives, and tech innovators around the world create and learn from their missteps.

This journey began as my personal quest to learn from the experiences of others, countering the belief that ‘nadie aprende por cabeza ajena’—that no one learns from others’ experiences. I want to prove that this saying is not true. By engaging in candid discussions with my peers, I strive to create a supportive environment where we can all acknowledge that even successful individuals encounter failures along their path.

Awards

Bienal Iberoamericana

The Puerto Rican design podcast, Command Z, was selected as a finalist in the prestigious international Biennial Ibero-American Design competition. Command Z proudly represented Puerto Rico on an international stage as the only podcast competing in the finals of this contest.

Command Z competed in the category of integral/transversal design, which highlights projects that intersect various design categories. The exhibition is currently taking place at the Central Matadero in Madrid, Spain, where attendees can appreciate the participation, which features an ear symbolizing the communication offered through the project. Among the exhibition elements are the Command Z logo and a QR code that allows attendees to listen to each episode of the project.

In just its first year, Command Z, a podcast created and produced in Puerto Rico, has been awarded first place in the 2019 Creative Industries Competition for Digital Application Development by the Puerto Rico Trade and Export Company.

Additionally, Command Z has ranked among the top 20 design podcasts on Apple Podcasts in several countries, including Argentina (position #1), Mexico (position #9), Australia (position #11), Spain (position #13), and the United States (position #20).
